Shield Instructor Course
Our consultants will explain the use of the Police Protective Shield during Crowd Management. Once your instructors are taught the strategies and use of the Police protective Shield, they will be able to instruct your officers in this rigorous and physically demanding instructor certification course designed to give your officers an excellent understanding in the use of the protective shield during crowd-control situations.
This program is designed to train and certify officers in effective Shield Tactics. The primary focus will be placed on training officers in how to utilize the protective shield in the art of blocking, deflecting, striking and redirecting a subject’s movements. Officers will also be trained in different types of line formations utilizing the NEW concept of the 3 man cell developed by Tactical Shield Solutions while operating within the mobile field force line and as a whole team utilizing the protective shield during practical drills.

Officers attending this course will have a better understanding of the protective shield and how it can be used as a defensive and offensive tool. Once Officers master the techniques they will be better prepared for these types of situations, reducing the liability to the department, reducing injury to officers and improving media relations.

Shield Line Operator
​
This is a rigorous and physically demanding 30 hr. course As with the Protective Shield Instructor Course this course is designed to give your officers an excellent understanding in the use of the protective shield during crowd-control situations. This program is designed to train and certify officers in effective Shield Tactics. The primary focus will be placed on training officers in how to utilize the shield in the art of blocking, deflecting, striking and redirecting a subject’s movements.
Our new concept and strategy of the 2 & 3 man cell developed by Tactical Shield Solutions, will be taught and shown how to apply it to your Mobile Field Force Team. They will also be trained as a whole MFF team utilizing the protective shield during practical drills.

Officers attending this course will have a better understanding of the riot shield and how it can be used as a defensive and offensive tool.

Mobile Field Force
​
Tactical Shield Solutions is the leader in Crowd Management, with over 17 years of experience. We can help your agency set up, organize and start a Mobile Field Force Team.
If your agency currently has a Mobile Field Force team, utilizing Tactical Shield Solutions NEW concept on Mobile Field Force formations and transitions working within 2 and 3 man cell formations will give your officers and command staff a deeper understanding into the cause, effect and why the use of a Mobile Field Force Team is needed.
This course is designed for our clients to train officers in the area of crowd control and the NEW Mobile Field Force tactics developed by Tactical Shield Solutions. Topics of discussion include a review of current tactical incidents, use of force, and mobile field force tactics. Field exercises will be conducted for tactical formations, vehicle tactics and officer rescues utilizing vehicles will also be discussed and trained. Once Officers complete the 40 hr. course they will have learned event proven tactics to insure an organized, disciplined, and professional response to any event.

Mobile Field Force / Shield Line Operator
This 40 hr. Course incorporates the Mobile Field Force and Protective Shield Line Operator Course all in one. Students will be trained in the area of crowd control and Mobile Field Force Tactics. Students will also be trained in the use of the protective shield while operating on a MFF line. Students will be trained in the art of blocking,deflecting,striking, and redirecting a subject's movements utilizing the riot shield.

Once completed students will have a better understanding of MFF and will respond to any event in an organized, disciplined, controlled, professional manner.

Once the course is completed students will be certified as a Shield Line operator as well.
